Welcome to Fielding’s Fieldnotes!
I am a PhD student in the Mandrak lab at the University of Toronto, co-supervised by Scott Reid from the OMNRF. I am interested in applied ecology and conservation of freshwater fishes. My research focuses on the impacts of disturbance (mainly habitat loss and fragmentation) on extinction processes, using wetlands in Southwestern Ontario as a model system.
When I am not researching I spend my days reading, cooking, playing/listening to music, and playing hockey. I am a strong advocate for women in science and sport!
